Over the last few years, many developers and main contractors have chosen to employ a specialist such as Taylands to manage the knotweed works on their sites, using the existing ground workers machinery and staff to do this. In such instances the initial works include a site survey, the development of the necessary Knotweed Management Plan and then agreeing the scope of works with the client or main contractor. Taylands then manages the existing onsite staff to excavate the knotweed contaminated soils and either remove to licenced landfill or enable an onsite solution.
